Catch-up vaccinations

Our practice offers catch-up immunisations for patients.

Whether the patient was born overseas or has just missed their last immunisation.

OurĀ objective with catch-up vaccinations is to encourage individuals to complete a course of vaccination and provide optimal protection against disease as quickly as possible.

Queensland Health states that children and adolescents needing catch-up vaccinations will have access to funded vaccines. These vaccines can be provided for catch-up before the child turns 19 years of age, unless otherwise stated.

If students miss having funded vaccines provided under the School Immunisation Program, funded vaccines will be provided for catch-up until the end of the following year. After this time, vaccines need to be purchased via private prescription. Adolescents not attending school are still eligible for the funded vaccines.
